HCCAC is a non-profit organization created to minimize the trauma of child abuse victims. They bring together a team of professionals from law enforcement, child protective services, victim service providers, prosecutors, medical personnel, mental health professionals, and community volunteers in order to ensure that the best interest of the child victims are being served.
This site has a great deal of content, which the navigation design had to accommodate in order to keep things "simple". The design was also challenging. I chose photography that would arouse sympathy and caring, but not make people feel uncomfortable.
